By now you know that we met our goal for buying the new property in only two weeks. Thanks to an anonymous donor of $25,000, we actually went well over the goal and will keep the funds in the "vision" account for the actual building of the Life Center. Keep praying and keep believing - God will certainly bring it to pass.
Last Sunday, Easter, was in a word, "phenomenal". We had 1,600 just in the services in the auditorium and there were over 200 in the children's ministries. Over 1,800 here on Easter! That is more than we had for "We Are Family" day a the Canyon and the most we have ever had present on any Sunday. If people's comments are any gauge, we will see a lot of new folks around here on Sundays. I would not want to even try and guess how many new families from the county we had present, but it had to be over 50.
Thank all of you who have caught the vision and are inviting people to come and hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Our students are serving all spring break week in the Jacksonville area. They are putting together food boxes; delivering food; helping other churches, etc....Of course, they are having fun at night. See you on Sunday.
