If you were present on Sunday you heard me announce that on June 12th, we will be going to 2 services. The times will be 9:00 and 10:30 AM. For six years we have been doing 3 services and we are in a word "tired". I so appreciate your grace in this matter. If you noticed, we have rearranged the seats and now have 600 chairs on the floor. This will allow for us to have 1200 in the auditorium plus all the children who are not in the services. Yes, it will be full, but we have been there for years now except for the 8:00 service.
Just for your information as to how we look at this attendance thing: On any given Sunday, we will have about 1200 in the 3 services. This includes children. Every two Sundays, we have about 1400 different people in the services. Every month we will have about 1600 different people in the services. From our attendance records, we have about 1900 people who have said that Gulf To Lake is their church when they attend.
We have continued to grow and my prayer is that going to two packed services will show us the need to expand the auditorium. This is the right time to try this because about 100 snowbirds have left. It also frees us up, if the Lord leads, to do a Saturday night service if we have to. At least we would get some rest before Sunday. The Praise team thanks you from the bottom of their hearts; they have been so faithful. We can get up at 5:00 on Sundays instead of 4:00. Hooray!! I can watch football later on Saturday nights------that's a joke OK?
