Gulf to Lake Student Ministries

4:30 pm

Gulf to Lake Student Ministries is a high energy weekly worship for all students 6-12th grade from 5:00 pm - 7:15 pm on Sunday nights. We will have fellowship time from about 5:00pm until 5:45. From 5:45 to 7pm, come expecting a youth worship experience with music, message and small groups. We love to see students growing through the use of their time and talents. At Gulf to Lake Student Ministries, students lead in all elements which include a live band, multimedia and games. Students will develop lasting friendships and will get to know God in a real and personal way. They will be challenged weekly with God's Word on how to face issues that they struggle with day to day.

Wednesday Night Bible Studies

4:30 pm

Gulf to Lake Student Ministries meets every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm for Bible study and discipleship. The goal of discipleship is not just making disciples. The goal is making disciples so enthralled with Jesus, so full of His aroma, and so expressive of His life that they make disciples. They become high school graduates who are motivated and equipped to disciple others in college, trade school, the military, the workplace, or the home.

College and Young Adult

4:30 pm

College is an exciting time as you pursue your dreams and careers with newfound freedoms. It can also be a challenging time as you learn how to incorporate your faith into the world around you. At GTLC, we desire to reach students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, build them up in their faith, and send them out as missionaries all over the world. We ask our college students to serve as a leader in our student ministry. This will teach them leadership and how to disciple those around them.  So as young people they can adjust to life as an adult and still surround them with familiar faces as they grow up both physically and spiritually.

Serving in the student ministry allows volunteers the opportunities to foster relationships with students and minister to them through the teaching and studying of scripture, worship and intentional discipleship. They engage with students during Sundays and Wednesday nights, lead small groups, and help with events and student outreach. All adults must pass a background check when working with minors and get Senior Pastor approval.
